3 beta updates in, and I still can’t mute my S25 Ultra

Since Beta 1, I haven’t been able to put my phone on silent. Now we're on Beta 3, and it still only goes to vibrate when using the volume buttons. Is anyone else dealing with this?

You can manually go to your settings and adjust your sound and volume controls from there. Navigate to, Settings and then "Sounds and Vibration". I know it is a pain to have to do that every time you want to adjust your volume off of a certain setting, but it's an option and it's available. You can also swipe left on the volume popup when you push either your up or down volume buttons. Swipe left on that and it will expand your volume options. You can tap on the gear icon as well when it expands to take you to the "Sound and Vibrations" in your settings. It will be in the upper right hand corner of the expanded window.

I agree, we should be able to mute by using the volume down button as it was in oneui7. That was quick and easy. Now you have to do additional steps.
We're not progressing, we're regressing.

I couldn't agree more! It's important they understand this is an issue. Adding extra steps to mute our phones is completely unnecessary. There are situations like meetings, movies, or other moments where I need to silence my phone quickly and discreetly, and these added steps only make that harder.

Setting the ringtone to the lowest volume using the volume up/down key goes into vibration mode is the current implementation for sounds. 

You can mute your ringtone easily from your quick panel > Ringtone Mute option.

Thanks, I finally figured it out. But honestly, who thought this new way to mute your phone was a good idea? It’s awful. Just bring back the simple volume down to mute! It wasn’t broken, so why fix it?

Toggle the icon in the quick panel until it mutes
