Why does my home screen flicker when the phone has been idle for a while?

Does anybody have an idea why my home screen flickers. It only flickers when the phone has been idle for a little while, I hit the home screen and it flickers doesn't hinder phone works fine just an annoying little problem. I tried the brightness I turned off adaptive brightness I cleared the partition cache. This happened right at the late October software update. I brought my phone to a Samsung authorized service center and they check the hardware and everything checked fine. Just an annoying problem and I expect my phone to work the way it's supposed to so it is annoying me. The only advice I got from Samsung was to do a factory reset but that can't be the only way out.

Can you describe how/when it flickers? As well as what it looks like when it flickers?

I see a black background and then my home screen comes on. By the way this is aA15

Is the screen fully turning off? You could try changing your screen timeout setting to 10 minutes.

The screen doesn't turn off and I tried a lot of different things with Samsung on the phone I used the option when the phone is not in use I just let the screen go black after a minute.

Could it possibly be related to Software because everything was fine before I got this update 2 weeks ago I got one update and two days later I got another update

It could be but usually it's user device settings. Do you have "keep screen on while viewing" toggled on?

Yes I do I have my brightness halfway to conserve battery life.

I didn't have this problem for months the phone was perfect right after the software update it started.

Try toggling keep screen on while viewing. I think that's the most help I can give. There are a lot of little issues since the one ui 8 updat though : (
