Why does my home screen flicker when the phone has been idle for a while?

Does anybody have an idea why my home screen flickers. It only flickers when the phone has been idle for a little while, I hit the home screen and it flickers doesn't hinder phone works fine just an annoying little problem. I tried the brightness I turned off adaptive brightness I cleared the partition cache. This happened right at the late October software update. I brought my phone to a Samsung authorized service center and they check the hardware and everything checked fine. Just an annoying problem and I expect my phone to work the way it's supposed to so it is annoying me. The only advice I got from Samsung was to do a factory reset but that can't be the only way out.

Thanks thanks for your suggestions I'll just deal with it I really don't want to do a factory reset like I said the phone works fine it's just a little flicker but me being a bug I expect things to work the way they're supposed to.

The screen will come on I'll see part of it I'll just scream will come on I'll see part of it and then the other part.

Sorry for all the typos using talk text. When I hit the home screen I will see half the screen then the other half comes in

Try looking on google to see if anyone has a similar issue. You shouldn't have to reset your phone but if you do make sure to backup your data using smart switch or samsung cloud. Make two copies for redundancy!

Google did say home screen was a problem with flickering. By the way the screen loads differently every time I hit home I will see Parts at a Time come in

Oh wow yeah that probably *is* a bug. I would consider waiting for the next security update before resetting. Also, in this app you can send feedback that will generate logs. This might be your best best for getting the problem addressed. I have a ticket in with the devs to get another issue fixed myself. It might be a while before you hear anything though.
