I'm trying to update to the latest software which is One UI 6.1 (found it in GSMA Arena), but it's telling me that One UI 5.1 it's the latest one, can I force the upgrade?

I think you may need to temporarily install a SIM to download the update. Do you know someone on T-Mobile whose SIM you can borrow? The other option would be to get a one-month prepaid SIM for the cheapest plan you can find.

One UI 6.1 should've been the last major update for your phone. You can try connecting the phone to Smart Switch on a computer. See "software update via Smart Switch on your Windows PC or Mac" on this page:

Did you buy the phone directly from T-Mobile or from a third party?

That's likely the issue. Please post a screenshot of your about phone > software information screen. I'm looking for the info I've highlighted in my screenshot. 1762487180074.jpg

Your service provider info shows it being the T-Mobile version. Is that the SIM you currently have in the phone?
