I've been trying to set up my voice mail for the past week looked up every video under the sun and checked every setting for this phone. Yet it still won't let me turn it on, only telling me that it hasn't been set up yet. Like I didn't already know that bit of information what am I supposed to do?
You need to contact your carrier for Voicemail assistance since they are the ones that provide it

It means that voicemail has not been set up for your phone line yet. You need to have your carrier set that up before you install and set up a voicemail app.
