Good morning.  I have a Samsung Galaxy A13 5G.  I am including a couple of pictures to describe my problem. I currently have the Sirius XM App on my phone. When I swipe down to access the Quick Launch screen the Sirius banner is always displayed.  If I hold my finger on it the remove button shows up but then it always comes back.  I tried reaching out to Sirius but without being able to send a photo they had no idea what I was talking about. I tried every setting within the Sirius App and cannot figure a way to keep it permanently off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Figureguy I would long press on the icon of the app. Click the circled i in the upper right of the dialog that pops up. Click Force stop in lower right.

I would also reach out to the developers of that app and see if they have a solution.

Thank you for responding. That works fine and it's easier than going into settings itself. I never really thought of it this way but you can force stop on an app but is there a way to keep an app off until you start it, Say by clicking on the icon yourself?

That is the way apps should work. Only run when you start them. But some apps have background processes that need to run to provide appropriate notifications, etc. But i don't see why Sirius would need to do that.

I don't know why.  Whenever I bring the app up at the bottom there is a banner at the bottom of the app that mirrors what is shown on the notifications/quick launch.  I went into App Settings and it says Sirius is NOT running in the background.  But I can't understand why that banner keeps popping up in quick launch.
