Has anyone ever experienced the Samsung Galaxy A16? In my opinion, I believe it's 1 of the worst phones ever. I lost my Note 20 Ultra 5G on the way home from work. Find my phone couldn't locate it. Plus the service provider at the time was no help at all. So I went to metro pcs, referred by a friend, and switch services. Then I decided on the S25+, but of course they were out of stock. So I got the A16 cause I needed something. Top 5 worst decisions. Slow, and extra slow. Glitches, freezes, just nothing what I'm ise to. I really want the S25 Ultra, but that price is a mountain. What are your thoughts about Samsungs A16?
If you really want thw s25 Ultra but it's too expensive I'd recommend and earlier model. I used the s22 Ultra for about three years and liked it so much that I didn't trade it in to help pay for my new phone. I'll be keeping it until it can't hold charge. I cannot speak highly enough about that phone. The only drawback is the size. Having a big phone does get a little old. Splurge on storage and use battery protection to make the battery life last longer. Just a recommendation though. But it unlocked or from an authorized retailer! Good luck.
Personally, an A1X series device would not be suitable for my needs. They are fine budget devices for basic texting and calling. If you have any significant mobile computing needs, I would recommend something else.
That being said, the midrangers in the A series (A3X - A5X series) are much more substantial, still at a reasonable price.
S25FE is the best bang-for-your-buck phone for most people... almost all the perks of the S series without the price tag.
Just got the S25 ultra. I got for the larger screen. Had a S21. I stream more now Still familiarizing my self with all the new features. S21 was dying. Full charge was only giving me 19 - 22 hrs. So far the most I've gotten is 41 hrs. Still figuring it out. Hope this was helpful ๐
The A1x series are all the same, the lowest, most basic model. The least features. Meant to be just a phone with the ability to look stuff up on the internet and take pictures.
The A16 sucks! Thanks Samsung! I swore by Samsung! Not anymore. I do not get that warm & fuzzy experience as a Samsung customer as I have from the past. We've been kicked to the curb. I lost all my faith in Samsung!
I'm sorry, did anyone from Samsung twist your arm to buy the A16? Did you research the specifications prior to purchase to see if it had the features that you wanted/needed? Read reviews? As was stated before the A1x phones are meant to be the most basic devices that will do some extra stuff besides just being a phone. They are the most budget of the budget models and they have the least features. You are not going to get "S" features and an "A" series and you certainly are not going to get robust performance from the lowest A model.
