On Galaxy devices updated to One UI 6.1.1 and later the feature formerly known as Smart Select has been rebranded to AI select. While the name is in the process of changing the functionality remains based on the original Smart Select feature, offering the same intuitive tools for capturing and editing screen content. Smart Select and AI Select is the same feature. To use the feature you can swipe open the edge panel and tap AI Select (Smart Select), Draw around the parts of the screen you want to capture or tap an onscreen object and AI Select (Smart Select) will automatically select the area you've chosen, you can drag the corners of the selection to change the shape or size of your selection. Depending on what you have selected, your options may be different. You may need to tap More Options to see all the options: Sketch to Image, Map, Add to note, Copy, Share, Save, Extract text, Pin, edit.
If the toolbar does not appear after taking a screenshot then go to settings, Advanced features, Screenshots and screen recording, enable show toolbar after capturing
