The only way is to tap each contact and they will disappear or wait 2-3 days and they will remove on there own until you add a new contact

I just tried it, tapping on them and it worked. I don't like that new feature. Thanks tho.

I like it but I think they should disappear after 5-10 mins not days

At least right, maybe 24 hours.

Yeah 2 - 3 days is too long when you normally have Favorites at the top

@GaryB82 for me it disappears after I close out the app.  I added my grandniece and grandnephew the other day and in each instance they showed up in "recently added", and I closed out the app.  Then I wanted to add some information, and figured they'd still be right at the top, but I had to scroll all the way down do their alphabetical position - not a hardship since I have very few contacts and these two are at the relative beginning of the alphabet.  maybe it stays up two days for you because you didn't reopen the app for two days? I did expect them to be in "recently added" so that I could just go in an easily add the information I wanted without too much effort, but that was not the case.  So, for me, it is add contact, see it in recently added, close the contacts app, reopen it and recently added is gone. Although It would not bother me if it was up for two days.  I have my favorites on the "people" edge panel for quick access.  I rarely open the contacts app anyway, except for entities not in my favorites.

Well consider yourself luck then since the majority of us has the recently added for a min. of 2 days unless they click on each one of them and clear them off.

I don't know if I'd consider it  lucky, exactly.  I might be the only one, but I find it useful for when I just add a contact and just want to go back in and add a quick bit of information.  You can tell from my edit pattern that I think of changes/additions after the fact 🙂 A day or two would be just fine for me, any longer and I may start to get annoyed.  I would think it would be especially helpful for those with very many contacts to have to wade through.
