How do I turn off call recording on Galaxy A15?

Is anyone else upset with Samsung and the new feature of call recording that can't be turned off? I have a Samsung a15 & because of Samsung not giving g the option to turn off, I'm ready to never get a Samsung again.

You're not locked into using the stock dialer. You can use another app, such as Phone by Google.

🙏Thank you. But that's still an inconvenience of downloading another app. I'm still disappointed with Samsung due to this issue. I will download another app. Trying to figure out best Caller app.

I thought you kept the native dialer because you weren't having any issues with the recording icon.  Or did you just want to use the same dialer as your Pixel?

I like it better for filtering out spam calls.

I just downloaded Phone by Google and hope it solves the recording problem. We should be able to have a choice, and not automatically opted into the updates.

So, you don't ever download any apps at all to your phone?  Downloading and using another phone dialer is no different than installing any other app.  You are not required to use the Samsung dialer.  The Samsung dialer has a feature you don't want and don't like.  The solution is to download another dialer.  If you find it inconvenient to download another app so it does not do something you don't want the dialer to do, then you will have to learn to live with the Samsung dialer just as it is.

I do and have downloaded outside apps, but many apps either have ads or cost money, so it still is an inconvenience especially since it is a core function of the phone. It's a little annoying when you have to download another app to call or text people. There was no issue with the Samsung dialer previous to a recent update. I'm also not the only user complaining about this. A couple other people local to me were talking about this
