I have a query regarding the dates on photos in my Samsung A53 as follows:

I am aware that I can find the date of a photo via the 'i' icon on a specific photo in Gallery. If I modify the date the photo was taken using the Edit function, how can I see the details of the date that the modification took effect ?

There is an option to sort the photos in an album by modification date or created date in either ascending or descending order but I cannot see the modification date of a photo recorded anywhere.

Also, if the date has been modified eg. backdated, is there a way to see the original date recorded anywhere?

Thank you for any replies

You can still see the original date in the file manager. Go to the path where the picture is stored in the file manager and you can still see the original date.
Unfortunately, I didn't find the modified date to be recorded anywhere

If your photos are backed up to Google, Google photos has the original date and modification date.  I'm not sure, but I think the modification date applies to the date the photo was edited, not the date you changed the date, but I could be wrong--it could mean any edit to the photo, such as tagging.
