A Series & Other MobileHi, I installed Fortnite on my new Galaxy A26 via Epic Games Store, but I keep getting weird pixelated screen glitches (lines, flickering, rotation). Is this caused by compatibility issue with this model or what? Any fix or update planned?

A Series & Other MobileIt is possible that the processor on the A26 cannot handle the game. Have you adjusted the motion smoothness settings within the display settings? If you have it on adaptive, switch it to standard and vice versa. Could be the FPS is too high or too low. Reach out to the game developer to see if there is any optimization that can be done.

A Series & Other MobileNo, the issue is not solved. I already contacted the game support, and they confirmed the problem is not with the game but due to incompatibility between the new Galaxy A26 and the game. The game runs smoothly with high FPS on other phone generations, so they told me Samsung needs to release a software update to fix this compatibility issue.

A Series & Other MobileWell, there you have your answer, The game is incompatible with your phone. If you want Samsung to issue a patch, you have to put in an error report with the programmers. They may are may not do it for a single game. It has always been my understanding that it is the responsibility of the game (or app) developer to sort out compatibility issues, either via their own programming, or working with the phone manufacturer. This is especially true of a developer of such a popular game - it's not Jack in the basement who made a one-off game.
In any case, put in a proper error report, as this is a peer-to-peer user platform. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692

A Series & Other MobileHey, yeah there is a fix, go on to settings, about phone, tap software info 7 times to use developer options, once done back out, go on dev options. Scroll down, turn on tethering hardware acceleration. Turn on force 4x MSAA and turn on disable HW overlays 🙂 also worth turning off adaptive brightness, hanging motion smoothness on display settings, I found also changing ram helped by going on to device care then memory and changing it To 8gb. No more flickering 😄 enjoy
