Anti-virus apps pop ups harmful links?

How come when I click on a certain link, all these "Anti-virus apps" ads be popping up saying my phone is compromised?

Because the ads are lying. They are attempting to install malware on your device. I recommend installing Malwarebytes from the Google Play Store and taking advantage of its features.

These ads appear from sketchy links. They try to make you download malware onto your device. Just ignore them.
