A51, Android 14: I am running out of space on my phone. I would like to set up groups of apps to archive/remove them from my phone to another medium AND restore them as a group. Can anyone recommend an app that can do that? Thanks!

I am a firm believer of Occam's razor, so, wouldn't it be simpler to uninstall the app until you need it again and then reinstall it when necessitated? If I understand what you're trying to accomplish, I don't believe it can work any longer because I don't believe you can move an "active" app to another memory medium and still have it continue perform as if it were contained in your actual internal memory on your phone. I hope that makes sense. Therefore, even if you were able to move an app to another memory medium, when you returned it to your internal memory on your phone, I believe it would be nothing more than simply downloading it and reinstalling it from the play store.

I do not believe there is any way or any app that will do what you are asking, apps must be uninstalled and installed individually, so if you want to uninstall an app until you need it again, you will just have to uninstall it and reinstall it later.  Both the Play store and the Galaxy store keep a record of your downloaded/purchased apps, so you can just reinstall them from that list without having to search for them.  You can make a complete Smart Switch backup to another medium and then upgrade to a phone with more storage space and then restore it to the new device.  Or you can adopt a policy of only downloading apps you are going to use frequently enough to warrant permanent space on your phone.  Everything else can be downloaded then uninstalled when needed.

You have an A series phone, which means you should have an SD card, you can utilize the SD card for keeping your photos, music and downloads, thus saving space on the internal storage.
