Hello mari7768, I understand your frustration about your device shutting down and not powering back on. If it’s not responding when you are pressing the Power button, let us try a few troubleshooting steps to get it working again. Did the device display any error before powering off? I know that you stated the device was fully charged before powering off but let's connect the device to the charger to verify the unit is charged. Before connecting the charger, check the USB cable for any damage. The USB cable should be secured firmly in the charging port of the device and charger with very little mobility. Verify that the charger is not a third party charger. Samsung does not recommend using any chargers other than Samsung chargers. These can cause damage and can hinder the charging of your device which may cause battery issues if used long term. If the device is powered off or if the screen is dark, the charging indicator will briefly display when the charger is plugged into a wall outlet. If the screen is dark with no indication of charging, verify if sounds are coming from the device or if the device rings or vibrates during calls or notifications. You can also try calling your device to check if it rings (or if it goes straight to voicemail). To determine if your device experienced liquid damage, you can check the LDI (Liquid Damage Indicator). The LDI is either inside the SIM card tray slot for newer devices or on the removable battery for older devices. LDI indicators should be solid white or white with visible pink or purple X's. If the device has been exposed to moisture, the LDI will be solid pink, purple, or red. Press and hold the power button and the volume down button simultaneously until the device starts. This can take up to 60 seconds.
