topic Watch automatically answers calls (Watch 7) in Galaxy Watch

I don't mean that the call audio routes to the watch by default, as I have set it to route call audio on the phone only. I mean that the watch literally accepts incoming calls without any input from me. I have the "answer automatically" setting in the phone settings turned off. I don't think it has anything to do with gestures, as I have universal gestures turned off and I have the shake gesture to dismiss calls (not accept calls). It happens when I'm completely still or when I move to look at the watch, so I don't know what the cause is.

I have a tempered glass screen protector on the watch, but according to the diagnostics, the touchscreen works normally.

I've had this problem for several months, and it has happened too many times in the wrong place and in the wrong time. Any ideas?

Check your watch gesture settings.

I had the double pinch gesture on, so now I turned it off. Then I received one call and it didn't automatically answer it. Maybe the vibration of the incoming call triggered the double pinch gesture? If so, that's on Samsung's end to fix. I will accept this solution for now, thank you for reminding me to double check the gestures.
