Hi, I got a notification saying I had a Samsung bios update and while I went to install it I kept getting this error message "The BIOS/MICOM model to be updated is different." I restarted and it's still the same

Ridiculous and annoying, same is happening to me. This occurred after "Samsung Update" downloaded and attempted to install the update. Very pleased with this laptop (Galaxy Book Pro 13" 512GB Mystic Silver) I purchased back in 2021. Why updates are pushed to products that are incompatible is beyond me. Hopefully someone answers us.

Same here. And just like userj4d4hZuhdQ is reporting, my laptop keyboard has also stopped working, one key at a time.

I used to think that my old HP laptop would be the worst laptop I ever owned, and promised myself to never buy anything from that brand. Turns out that Samsung is even worse. Haven't they got any quality control at all?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! If the Software updater is not working I would recommend first shutting your laptop down completely. And the reboot before opening anything else open the software updater and try to update again. Also, make sure that you have your laptop charging. Please let me know if this helps!

You can try the information from the EU community too. But I can not 100% guarantee it will work as software from other countries is different and not everything is compatible.
